What happens if you set the air direction at the floor - down by your feet.
2005 toyota avalon xls *HEAT ISSUE*
I only have cold air coming through the front vents the rear vent is the only vent that blows out heat but the front vents blow very cold air. any one ever had this issue? how could i fix this?

I would suspect a blend door malfunction.
I agree - blend door. Possibly something simple, stuck door, or loose vacuum hose (at least they used to use vac hoses for these functions) but getting to it may be rough.
