I currently own a 2006 Corolla Sport with 1.8 4 cylinder, I have 2 ideas of things Id like to do to it and want people to either give me advice or direct me to websites with cheap parts or just tell me how stupid I am for wanting to do these things
1.Turbocharge-I recently took a turbocharger off a junk yard PT cruiser GT, probably one of the weirdest cars ive ever seen and it had a 2.4L 4cylinder. I had the intention of installing it myself but the project seems like too much for my resources and I might take it too a local garage and see if they can do it for cheap.

2.Rally Lift-How I plan to do this is to use 1 inch coil spring spacers, and maybe a 25mm wheel spacers. I'm hoping if I put wheel spacers on I can do some more work and increase my turn radius. Overall I just need suggestions on the cheapest websites for these part, what parts you suggest and what I should do in order to not destroy my car.

set yourself a power goal, and then set yourself a budget that is reasonable realistic to that power goal, then add 50% more budget.

is this the turbo where the exhaust manifold is cast with/integrated with the turbine housing? how do you plan to work around this?
Monkey wrench racing is a great source to start with. There's also turbo kits.com too.

What kind of ground clearance are you looking for overall? Problem with spacers is you will wear out your wheel bearings. Is your wheel package going to stick out of the wheel arches?
Your turbo idea is going to be costly and lifting this thing might effect the handling enough to be a problem. Also it is 11 years old and was designed for a purpose, save your money a look for something that does what you want.
Also, there was a 4WD version of Vibe/Matrix that might be a better starting point for off road/rally cross. There is also a hotter version of Toyota 1.8 l, the 2ZZe or such. Horses for courses.

I wouldn't do it. It's far too much money and don't really serve a practical purpose.
