Hi,
We ordered a 2006 Prius which hasn't arrived yet. We were wondering if it would be good to get the rust-proofing, paint & fabric protection done on the car before bringing it home. Is it worth it? We've been told by friends that the cars are made better now, so rust proofing is not needed. Any opinions??

Has anyone heard of Rust Check? It's a DIY rust protection.

Thanks-John

no, no and no.

Anything that the dealer wants to "add", say no. It's just their way of getting back the money they gave to you as discount.

Ask those who have old Camrys or Corollas etc. Theirs aren't rusting so why pay extra for something they won't physically add?
