Things to check

First get out the owners manuel and look for that specific service. Call your dealer they usually have a set price for specific milage services. If its a oil & filter change and tire rotation and a bunch of checks than don't bother. Its a do it yourself project . Save your receipts for the oil & filter and and log it in your owners manual when you did it.

Just get an oil change, Rotation, And Air filter if needed. Everything else is fine!
I agree these are rip-offs, but I have heard of instances where things went wrong with a car and it could have been spotted with one of these 15k, 30k and 60k services. Since the owner did not maintain the car properly by having these services done, they wouldn't cover the repairs under warrenty.

Since hearing of these, I just do the major services although I know its a rip off. Only to cover my rear should something happen. After the warrenty expires, then I'll do what I want..lol.
If we the oil change, rotation, and air filter somewhere other than the dealer, do we really void the warranty? Can't we just keep records/receipts from the Jiffy Lube (or a more reliable place)?

Yes. Keep records/receipts and mileage of all your maintenance work.
