that's actually pretty darn good for an auto. i only get about 27 city with the way i drive:cool: lol but one simple way to improve it is to get either 44k or stp fuel injector cleaner. i go with the stp cause 44k costs 25+ bucks! but the stp is only like 5 and when i used it i noticed a smidge more power and i got like three mpg more that tank and two more the next. just dumnp the whole bottle into your next full tank.

you should put it in the next time you fill your tank. once you fill it full of gas (make sure it's full or the concentration of stp will be too strong) just dump the whole bottle into your tank via the full inlet. and that's pretty much it

i don't think that stuff is good for your car, but im not positive. I have a manual, and I get an average of 38mpg combined city and highway. I always make sure my tires are inflated properly. It only takes a few minutes to stop at a gas station, and fill ur tires up. That also helps with safety. Also, I got a K&N filter for my emgine filter. It never needs to be replaced, just cleaned and oiled like every 40k. The filter is supposed to give better gas mileage and allow the engine to breath a little better.

ya i wasn't sure at first either so i checked with my mechanic and he said it's fine as long as you use it properly. i mean heck they sell the stuff at the shop. i've used it many times now and it has no harmful effects. it's not like octane booster or anything like that it's just a mild cleaner to break down gunk in your fuel injector. obviously you shouldn't use it on every tank that would be pointless and expensive. but if you follow the usage directions and do it about every time you change the oil it only helps keep things clean and running nice.
