Ok so I have a 2007 corolla le, and I want to do some mods for the hell of it. I don’t like the bumpers on it so I’m wondering if corolla s bumpers are interchangeable? As well as hoods.

Yes the bumpers are interchangeable. I assume you want the 05 front bumper facelift?

All panels are the same between 03-08. But if you want to add the side skirts from the S, holes will need to be drilled for the clips.

Would this one work? AIT Racing® - Zen Style Fiberglass Front and Rear Bumper Covers (Unpainted) (Toyota Corolla 03-08 Rear Bumper Cover)
Yes it will fit.

However, fiberglass is fragile and will be warped. My brother had purchased a fiberglass kit for his vibe. When we installed it, the top edges were warped and in some places, it was worse. Do keep that in mind.

After a while, it started to chip. Not sure if it was due to sharp objects on the road or if it just was due to vibrations.
What’s a better cheap alternative?
There isn't a cheaper alternative. Fiberglass is the cheapest one, but isn't long term solution. Duraflex costs more, but will last longer than fiberglass.

My last question would be, is modding an '07 corolla be worth it or should i just get a miata?

That is an answer you can only answer yourself. It does not take much to compare the two.
I have a Miata and a Corolla and the Miata is like a racing go cart. Get one!
It all depends on what you want. The corolla will never be "fast" but maintenance is low, it's super practical and doesnt attract attention from law enforcement . But everyone I know with a miata loves their miata
You can get an idea of which type of bumper cover to get for your Corolla by watching online.
I say, dump the 07 Corolla and get a Celica gts, matrix xrs, Miata, or Corolla xrs. Your choice.

NA or NB is a good choice. If possible and the price is right, get a British racing green Miata. They did the nardi steering wheel and shift knob. It's pretty slick.

Miata is always the answer

That or understand that there is not much you really can do to your car but also that this is the car that, if taken care of well, will keep on running while your project car stays broken.

Not all project cars are money pits! But hey, a daily driven Corolla can take a lot of abuse and even negligence.
Oh ya, keep the Corolla stock as your commuter car so you can work on the Miata at your leisure. The engine on my 2008 MX-5 is so packed in there its a bitch to work on sometimes. I might need to put a starter on it but I dread the job, you cant even see the starter wedged up in there against the firewall. I may give up on that one and take it to a shop to get it replaced.
Heard, thanks everyone! Ima keep my corolla stock (maybe do an exhaust mod for fun) and buy a Miata as a project car

My 1997 Avalon & 2005 Mazdaspeed Miata say hello. The perfect combination.
