Good morning, it is recognizing the key fob it does lock in unlock the doors the 12 volt battery is fully charged it has 12 and a half volts when I put my meter on it I don't know if the front wheels being off the ground has anything to do with it or not I have double-checked all my connections I believe I have every single thing plugged in I did also check all my fuses they are all good underneath the hood
I have a 2016 Avalon Hybrid....so I do not know what your dash looks like or what buttons to push.....
Does the key picture come up? just because the doors unlock is not an indicator that the immobilizer is recognizing the key.
What is the state of charge of the traction battery? Pull up different screens on the energy screen. Go through the settings and see if you can find it. Wondering if it is recognizing you pushing on the brake pedal? What lights light up when you attempt to start it? What happens if you just hold the start button in (along with the brake pedal)? (couple times, any port in a storm)
Have any fusible links been blown under the hood?
Look up the search term: Toyota Hybrid no start no ready light
Do a lot of reading. Probably need the Techstream diagnostics. I have it, but my Chinese cable is not recognized, so I cannot get the computer and car to chat together.
Here is a statement that I read on a page:
if you have serviced the hybrid battery most people mess up the insertion of the orange safety plug. You push it in flip up the handle THEN push that handle straight down till it locks.
Snookwhaler would be your man, he hasn't been on for a month, maybe send him a PM.
I do not have enough experience with hybrids to help you, but 40+ years of cars can shove me in the right direction.....meaning that I can sometimes recognize the right trail even though I don't know where I'm going. I could tell you more than one could want to know about 81-83 Nissan Maxima Diesels....hybrids...not yet.
Don't be afraid to look at Prius or other cousins in the Toyota family....look anywhere and everywhere on the web....don't forget to come back and give the final report.
So, let it down on the ground...maybe it knows?
