This is the part where I find out he was looking for one for a Hybrid.Let us know how it works out. I would keep all the stock stuff just in case. You shouldn't get a precipitous drop in MPG, but I have limited knowledge of how this kind of thing effects the hybrids. Research: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zofnaV5Bi_Q Your engine is designed to exacting specs, including air intake. Changing it can cause a cascading effect. Some do it - I think Vangm25 has experience with it on his gas engine, but not sure who has done it on a hybrid. You may get more noise due to knocking and the engine constantly trying to adjust due to the lack of the designed air intake.
