Hi, I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla s with factory alloy wheels I bought winter tires for it and found a set of steel wheels from a 2007 Toyota Corolla (not sure of trim package) Will I need different lug nuts? Any other problems with switching to Steel wheels for the winter? Thanks in advance

No you can use the original ones as they do both flat and acorn end (I did for a few years with winter tires) BUT they will rust in the winter (if you are in the rust belt) and the built in washer that is supposed to spin starts seizing up. So, eventually I did buy 20 open ended acorn lugs nuts and let them rust.

So the answer is closed ended acorn style lug nuts?

Cheapest is open ended acorn nuts and the plating only lasts about 1-2 years before rust gets going on the nuts. Closed acorns will work as long as they are long enough to accomodate the stud length and they will stop any potential rusting of the studs. Rock Auto has a multitude of styles.
