I just picked up my new 2007 Camry XLE with Nav tonight. I am planning on getting it tinted this weekend, but wanted to make sure that the tine will not effect the Nav. Where is the GPS antenna located for the stock Nav system?

Do I have anything to worry about. I am not tinting the front window.

Antenna is under the dash pad.

I have 20% on all four of my Hybrid's windows. Factory Nav is unaffected. You'll be fine.

That is great news. So no matter what type of tint I use, it will be fine, correct? Off to the tint shop tomorrow.

Go with ceramic tint.

They have Metallic tint and non-metallic. THe non-metallic is safe for Nav where the antenna is on the rear window.

I got 7% in rear and 35% front. Worked fine.

I got 3M non-mettalic. Garanteed for Life, doesn't interfere for Satellite or FM radios, won;t turn purple, or come off , or rip.
Cheap non-metallic film will turn purple.

Use good non-metallic like 3M ColorStable, bur it is expensive.

The AM/FM antenna is on the rear window.
