I am contemplating doing a brake job on all 4 wheels on my 08 Highlander Sport. Can anyone advise if the rotors should be cut or should they be replaced? The car has just over 60 K miles on it. Thanks, Jim

x2. Leave them alone unless you are having problems with the rotors. They last a very long time if you don't need to turn them. The front rotors on my Tacoma have never been touched, still exceed minimum thickness (by 50%), and have 142k miles on them. Still smooth braking.

Just leave them, you'll know if your brakes are gone. It's a good idea to replace the pads before they ruin the rotors.. I've had many brake jobs.
