I want to share this video looking for help of how can i get around this problem.

My xB is 107,978 miles now, bought new on January, 2008.

The sound only happened just when i'm in gear, noticeable on 3rd, 4th and 5th gear. I already changed transmission oil with Royal Purple 75w-90 without any change in the sound. Here is the video:

Please help find a solution to my problem! It is driving me crazy!

The cheapest option would be sourcing a good used transaxle, second would be removing the transaxle yourself and take it to a transmission specialist. If you wanna rebuild it you'll need specialty tools and find out which bearings failed in the transmission. Not sure on the price but it wouldn't be as expensive as rebuilding an auto trans.

That's sounds bad news, thanks Gerson for your input. I'm just disappointed because i take good care of my car since new no abuse at all. How this could happened? What could i have done wrong? If i find a way to fix it, how can i prevent it from happen again?

I normally change my transmission fluid every 30k on the manual models rather than the 60k. Bearings can go bad due to a shock between shifts, weak release bearing, weak hydraulics like master and slave cylinders. It can be numerous things but since you took care of it, it's odd that a manual transmission gives up the ghost early in life.

For a proper fix after a transmission replacement or rebuild it is wise to install new clutch and master cylinders, rear main seal, and inspect the mounts for wear or tear. Also inspect the cv shafts for any signs of wear and tear.

We drop the transmission and give it to a Toyota Certified mechanic. He replaced all bearings inside transmission. We put new Valvoline synthetic oil. We replace clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. Sound is still there... What else could be causing the noise?

I'd speculate to say that either the tech missed a bearing, or like was stated, there's a bearing on the back of the right axle shaft that could be making that noise.

Can you post numbers on the bearings that were replaced...
There are 10 bearings in the transmission and the one on the axle shaft that's behind the engine block.

If bearings are not your issue, I would start learning towards gears with chipped teeth=time to replace the transmission.

Here's the list of numbers I have....

Even I missed the 90366-28002. That one is in there too....

I wouldn't think that the needle bearings would end up going out, BUT, i would replace everything once I was in there...

You might have a bad gear. Might have a bad needle bearing. Might have recieved a bad bearing from the factory, (it happens), but I would make the guy that "fixed it" fix it right if you had to pay them to do it.
