I just want to have my stock muffler cut off and a new one welded on keeping stock piping. What is the best muffler to do this with. I don't want anything really loud and I don't want to loose low end torq. Thanks for the help

Good question, what is your reason for doing this? We carry a bunch of muffler brands and all will vary on their sound. Tough for me to recommend since sound is so subjective, I may like it, you may not. That said, I added a Flowmaster SUV 50 series muffler to my old ford explorer sport trac and it had just a slight bit more noise than stock, but barely noticeable.
