Does anyone know if it can be taken off and replaced with a new one without vacuuming the system? I heard some cars have a Schrader valve that won't allow anything to escape if you unscrew it, but I am not sure if the 2010 camry le i4 has one or not. I have tried searching for it, but found nothing. Any help will be appreciated.

A/C low/high pressure switch is threaded into piping.
Need to recover refrigerant/unscrew/ reinstall/recharge system.
Does switch measure an open circuit?

If you loosen that switch and screw it out you will get a big surprise and probably be enveloped in a big white cloud of refrigerant and oil vapor. Evacuate the system first.
