Hi,

Our car is a 2010 Camry.

Just noticed today, that the screw that holds the underneath plastic fell out, so the plastic that protects the underneath sags. It scratches the speed bumps.

Does anyone know how or what the replacement screw is called? it looks to be the plastic fender well type.

I am not sure why, but it just fell out on it owns?

Thanks.

Thanks.

There are several fasteners there, but if it is the one in the middle that brings the two halves together, just run a zip tie through it all. You can get replacement fasteners from the dealer cheaper than paying shipping online for them.

Yes, it's the middle one.

Do you know which one from amazon would work? Thank you!

The logical thing to do is get the right ones from the dealer parts department and purchase some extra at the same time.
Yes, the thing is, for whatever reason, they just popped out or whatever. I was wondering if this was a common problem, or if an alternative fix or even better part was available.

It's the middle section that's missing. Amazon has a lot, but wanted to know if they were the same standard ones they are selling.

Thanks.

You've been messing around with this problem for over a month. It's no rocket science. Those plastic push rivets for whatever reason fail. I have replaced a dozen or more in the last twelve years and purchase them by the box from Clips & Fasteners. Just recently had the splash guards off and decided to replace them all. Regards

I changed the oil on 09 Camry SE yesterday and found we have the exact same problem. Just need to get around to getting the retainers to button it back up.

Have you tried checking out some diagrams from sites that sell OEM replacement parts? May help narrow down what you need. I was also wondering about the one center retainer. I was wondering if it was a screw or a plastic retaining clip, as the hole for it seems a little large for a typical push-type plastic retaining clip.

Thanks. I just made a trip down to the dealer and got the part. It was a quick fix. Just popped back in.

Thought there would be a better aftermarket part or whatever as it seems like a common problem. Thanks for the help guys.
