Looking into getting these highlander hybrid 19 inch rims wondering if the rim itself will fit correct im sure they will just want to double check.maybe someone here knows how to check info on these wheels. im gonna put on 225 45 19 tires ends up being the same total size as my 20inch with 225 35 20 tires.I should be ok right? These will be for winter use to replace stock 17s..By the way anyone interested in these 2009 limited wheels and new tires basically used em a few months

Yeah, you shouldn't have a problem. Before I bought my 21's, I thought about getting the Venza factory 20's and putting them on my car. How much are you trying to get for the factory 17's?
Looking for at least 800..Im just worried about the tires size cause it snows alot here and i want to have enough tire to use em safely during the winter.I wanted te Venzas too But tere 20 inch and you need the same size tires i have on my 20s now so thats not gonna work for snow but a 19 will give me a lil more meat with the 45 series..
Do you think the 45 series will give me enough extra side wall and still not give and rub issues..I can get 225 45 19 tires goodyear eagles cheap.
You probably can even go with a 235/45/19, but I'm not real sure if it'll rub. The factory rims should have a high enough offset to clear.

make sure to share some pictures

Come on Gramps, you know I wont keep the nation waiting,,lol..These things look great, and with my silver paint its gonna look real nice.As long as it all fits correctly.

They Wont Go On Till Winter
Another good thing about these wheels is they are from the hybrid so there will be less of them out there floating around.I see tons of highlanders with the 5 star 19s and the base models

Toyota Camry with 19 inch Highlander wheels. Looks sweet. I think Quicksilver will look good with them on.

I'm just wondering if I'm gonna need a spacer or mod the caliper to fit them on. Is the camry and Avalon the same size in calipers etc. Do u think they will go on without mods?I might just try em on today.

that look way bigger than stock, will it affect your daily driving?
Also what will happen if you have 5 people sitting inside? bottom out?

That picture is the highlander tire on the wheel. The one above it alone is the new 225 45 19. That larger tire is 245 55 19

here you go..on my 20s i have 225 35 20. the highlander is 225 45 19 so smaller wheel taller tire..everything else is the same even the off set my 20s dont rub no matter what you do...Just hopeing to clear the calipers.im gonna try em on today maybe just a front and a rear but im dieing to put the set on.

Well Guys it looks great BUT the front does catch the caliper just a tiny bit so im gonna get the smallest set of spacers. But everything else was great no rub issues when i sat my 2 buddies in the back to see if it would touch inside.nothing so it looks like a simple spacer issue.

I got a 3mm and a 1/4 inch spacer set to see which will do the job.

The 3mm did not do it.1/4inch is perfect.Stock Lugs and Studs.

oh, when is the last time you ride on stock anyway :)

Looks good, now I wonder what is the next mod

Well your right I only rode stock for a month or so BUT from the 20s with 35 series to the 19s and 45s,(More Tire)Its alot smoother ride and I dont have to scan and have radar eye to dodge the potholes etc since there is more tire. Its different from the 20s for sure. And for the next mod Ive been trying my best not to go overboard on the accessories on the outside makeing it all..YA KNOW.But I have been looking into the zinc coated drilled and slotted rotors with the ceramic pads,That alone would look real nice behind the wheels and give a small amount of brake improvement. But then Ied also want the Caliper Upgrade and Steal lines etc and thats around 1600 just for parts, never mind IF you DONT do the work yourself.

Maybe some painted Mud flaps will be next.

Oh forgot I have some toyota emblem valve stem caps with set screw locks on order.DOES THAT COUNT..LOL
2012 Toyota Highlander Rims on a 2008 Toyota Avalon

Hey I'm about to buy a set of OEM Toyota Highlander rims the 19's, and i already have tires sitting with me and they are 245/45/19, i wanted to know will these tires work with the rims on my car, I'm assuming that ill need spacers but with that wide of tires i want to know if it'll work with my car.

thanks,
CarGuy
