Selling a set katzkin black leather seat covers.

The story goes i bought these for my 2016 camry, as the seat padding/frames were unchanged from 2012-14... what is changed is the stitch pattern. Something i thought i could live with.

I installed the passenger seat and realized i should have ponied up for the 2015+ seat pattern, knowing that its going to match to the OEM style.

So anyways these are the OEM style pattern for 2012-2014.. black leather covers.

These are not slip covers, they do not "go over" your old seats... they require you to remove the old covers and install these. They really come out looking great and factory. They arent hard for those who are capable and patient. Or you can bring them to an upholstery shop if you dont want the hassle.

All the following pictures are my own, below shows the passenger seat installed to give an idea how great it looks it was installed for a grand total of 5 hours (you can see my driver seat is 2015+ style). All other covers are brand new/uninstalled.

Price is 300$ shipped, no this is not a price mistake. Or you can pickup in Southwest Connecticut or BWI Maryland area.

You can take the new cover with the old cover to upholstery place and they cut and stitch for a few probably around $25 bucks.! I remember reading about people doing it this way before the hybrid specific kit was available.

No, they are as brand new as can be... Im sending you a PM now regarding exit 7 off the NJTP.

Couple more pics.. these were from the day i installed the passenger cover so thay cover is missing from picture..








And this past weekend i had a couple hours to start the 2015+ seat covers, you can see how the pattern differs. Truth be told, i think the red stitching looks tacky, and the pattern is too busy... but convinced myself that if i was going through with it, i wanted it to look as close to factory as possible. I think the 2014 pattern looks easily twice as nice.




Im not a fabric expert so i cant say this is better than the factory synthetic/suede.. but i can say it is a LOT thick and seems a whole lot more durable.

Bump - i know im not the only one who loves the feel and ease of maintenance of leather vs cloth -- you can also upgrade/install some seat heaters while you are going through the process.
