Hi Everyone,

I came out this morning, started my car and my FM/AM stations won't play. The CD/SAT/AUX works fine but no FM/AM...That makes me think its antenna related but i guess it could be anything. If i turn the radio off then on again, it will play a radio station for like 3 seconds and go off (no audio)...If you scan, it cannot find any stations. I have not unhooked the battery or replaced it recently.

Any ideas?

Does it produce static white noise like there is no station or is it quiet? If there isn't static, then it isn't likely an antenna issue. Anyway, I believe the car has two antennas so it's unlikely both are faulty. These systems typically use a diversity antenna system that automatically switches to the antenna with the strongest signal. If one went bad, you'd probably never know because it would switch to the good one.

If there is no static like it's off the station, then it's probably an internal electronic issue (tuner gone bad).

It was dead quiet, but I went out again to pick my son up in the afternoon it was working fine. Very strange issue! Lol
