I have been trying off and on trying to troubleshoot the problem with my AC. The AC blower and fans all work fine. I have charged the system. When working correctly it blows the the coldest air you could ask for. However, to get the AC to start blowing cold air I had to hit a speed bump fast and hard, run over railroad crossing, or take a turn sharp and fast to get the thing to kick in and this only works maybe 30% of the time. Any suggestions or advice is welcomed.

Maybe there's a leak but you said you just recharged it. Have you checked it again to see if it's still full?

Having a short or faulty relay is out of the question since you mentioned it starts working when you drive over speed bumps or uneven surfaces.

OP-when not blowing cold can you verify if compressor clutch is engaged or not?
