Currently my 2015 RAV4 doesn't seem to allow the power unlock switch on the front passenger door handle to work unless the key is in the ignition (not smart key), as in it will not unlock any doors. The power lock button on the passenger side works fine. Is there a setting I can change to allow that unlock switch to work regardless of whether the key is in the ignition or not? Thanks.
Edit:
Figured out that if I lock the car from the inside power lock buttons, the unlock buttons on both the passenger and driver door handles work the way I would expect (unlock all doors). If I lock the doors with the key button, neither power unlock buttons on the door handles (driver and passenger side) will function. Is there a way to have the door handle unlock buttons still function even if I use the lock button on my key?
