I have a 2016 Avalon with 45k miles and the heated seats for both Driver and passenger have stopped working. The control lights when turned on are working but, no heat is coming from both sides. I suspect this is a fuse ..if so where is the fuse box ? Any help would be greatly appreciated !

There is a fuse box under the dash on the drivers side. For my '13, fuses 19 and 20 are for the front seat heaters or heaters/fan. I took a look at the '16 owners manual and it looks like Toyota took the fuse index out of the manual for some reason. I'm assuming that they didn't change the layout, but I don't know for sure if that is the case. I'd look at them first.

Did this get fixed?
I just bought a 2014 Limited (April 28, 2022) and the seats don't heat up and neither does the control light come on.

Grab between the two cup holders and gently pull up the shifter console cover . Reach up under the heated seat control and look for a harness not connected. This is a bit common ,that something does not get reconnected after a airbag recall fix.

You were right, accept the connector was still plugged in, it just had a bad connection. I still took it back to the dealer because (1) it might have been a more complicated issue and (2) since I only had the car for about a week they said they'd fix it for free. Thanks for your input. I wonder how the OP made out.

Great. We like to hear the word fixed! I was also abel to add some extra front floor well lighting under the dashboard on my limited .By tapping into the cupholder wires, and control the brightness with the mood button. Low, bright, and off. Wires get hidden thru the console. . If that's something of interest. The red color suitcase style 18 to 22 gauge quick connects, are a easy tap for Toyotas thin gauge wires.
