Hi Guys,
I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla Hybrid with a Hybrid System malfunction at 27,000 km.
The Hybrid System malfunction light came on due to using a wrong 12 volt battery.
I have changed the 12V battery with a brand new one, but still have got the Hybrid System malfunction light on. Anyone have an Idea how I can fix this or reset it?

Buy a scanner and scan it for codes. The code should help pinpoint the issue. With the correct battery installed, it is as easy as clearing the codes and the light goes away. You won't know until you find out what the codes are.

how did you go? I went to pick up my corolla hybrid and it has the same error message "hybrid system malfunction, visit your dealer" So upset and now wafting for their answer

Bought a scanner and scan t, got the code: P3107: Lost communication with Airbag system control module

You got to check the wire’s. Something either shorted out or ground out. Or maybe a sensor needs to be replaced
