We just bought a 2017 Rav4 LE yesterday and it's hard to find reference to the lot of the things on the car. I wish they made a complete video or gave you a DVD for it.

So the Display in the center that shows Radio, Phone, Setting has several choices I'd like to know about. Under Door Lock Settings: there is Auto Lock by Shift from P (on or off) locks all doors?
Auto Unlock by Shift to P (on or off) so all unlock?
Auto Unlock by Driver Door (on or off) when ?
Remote 2-Press Unlock (on or off) otherwise what?
Auto Relock Timer (60 sec is set) relock ??
Lock/Unlock Feedback-Lights (on or off) so lights flash?
Lock/Unlock Feedback-Tone (off but has a bar to go +)
Under Lights Settings it has: Headlamps-On Sensitivity (- to + 5 bars to choose from)
Headlamps Auto-Off Timer (30 seconds but can be increased)
Daytime Running Lights (on or off) but there is also a DRL off on the headlight knob which lets you choose DRL off, Auto, Parking lights, and headligths
Under Audio Settings: Number of Radio Presets (set to 36)
Display Cover Art (on or off) what is this ????
Automatic Sound Levelizer is off and i can't change it

I've got a 2016 RAV4 XLE, but many of these settings are also available through my Settings options and/or through other means (such as a Carista OBD2 device).

So the Display in the center that shows Radio, Phone, Setting has several choices I'd like to know about. Under Door Lock Settings: there is Auto Lock by Shift from P (on or off) locks all doors?

Yes - ON, all doors lock when you move the shifter from Park; OFF, doors do not lock.

Auto Unlock by Shift to P (on or off) so all unlock?

Yes - ON, all doors unlock when you move the shifter into Park; OFF, doors do not unlock.

Auto Unlock by Driver Door (on or off) when ?

All other doors (or at least the front passenger's door) unlocks when the Driver Door is unlocked.

Remote 2-Press Unlock (on or off) otherwise what?

I believe this is to unlock all the other doors with a double-press on the remote button, one for the driver's door, two for all others.

Auto Relock Timer (60 sec is set) relock ??

Yes - Automatically relocks all doors in 60 seconds (unless you set it to some shorter time).

Lock/Unlock Feedback-Lights (on or off) so lights flash?

Yes - On, they flash, Off, they don't.

Lock/Unlock Feedback-Tone (off but has a bar to go +)

Off, no tone when doors are locked and you can set it On and to different levels of loudness.

Under Lights Settings it has: Headlamps-On Sensitivity (- to + 5 bars to choose from)

This has to do with how "dark" it needs to be before the headlights come on, i.e., my headlights were coming on when I was in my garage that was relatively light, but still darker than it was outside in the daylight and then going off again when I pulled out of the garage. I lowered the sensitivity a notch and it stopped doing that.

Headlamps Auto-Off Timer (30 seconds but can be increased)

This is to keep your headlights on for a longer period of time, say, if you live further from the street or something like that and want light for an additional period of time to ensure you can safely make it into the house or whatever.

Daytime Running Lights (on or off) but there is also a DRL off on the headlight knob which lets you choose DRL off, Auto,
Parking lights, and headligths

I believe this setting overrides the physical light switch and disables the daytime running lights altogether.

Under Audio Settings: Number of Radio Presets (set to 36)

The number of presets can be decreased if desired so you don't have so many unused presets cluttering up the place!

Display Cover Art (on or off) what is this ????

If you notice, when you start your car, there are two sets of warnings on the LCD and in-between them you'll see the Toyota logo flash by for a couple of seconds. Well, you can change that to display (for that second or two) a different image (I changed mine to an American flag, but you can select just about anything you like). It's not hard to do and if you're interested, let me know and I'll post the instructions.

Automatic Sound Levelizer is off and i can't change it

I think the vehicle needs to be running and the stereo on, but what it does is it automatically increases the sound of the stereo as your speed gets higher and road noise increases (and then, of course, decreases it when you slow down or outside noise is less). The idea is to keep you from having to constantly fiddle with the volume controls).
Hope that helps!!!

Wow thanks for the quick response. Been looking for 2 days for this stuff in the manual and watched about 30 YouTube videos trying to find it.
Know exactly how you feel. Every item have reference to other pages and to other pages then forgot what I was looking for.:|
