Toyota heavily modified a 2017 Corolla for SEMA and I'd just like to point out a few things about it that may interest you guys:
- converted from a 4 door to a 2 door coupe (the frame wasn't shortened though since they just removed the rear doors)
- has a turbo 2ZR-FAE with a 6 speed manual swap
- demon eye Multi-LED headlights
- 4 Piston Wilwood Racing calipers with bigger, drilled and slotted racing rotors
- custom built exhaust
There are much more things that are on the SEMA Corolla but these are just some things that caught my eye the most. I'm pretty sure though that either this is a Corolla SE with a 2ZR-FAE with the 6 speed manual attached to it or a Corolla LE ECO with the 6 speed manual swapped on it and an exterior panels from a SE. If it's a Corolla SE, they could be hinting that the 2ZR-FAE will be replacing the 2ZR-FE in the next generation of Corolla especially since the 2015 TRD Concept Corolla also had a 2ZR-FAE with a 6 speed manual attached to it.
It seems that even Toyota is boosting the Corolla as well...
