Is there anything wrong with using 0W-20 at my 30k oil change?
the difference between 16 and 20 has got to be minimal, no?
The manual says that it's acceptable, but that you should change back at the next change.
The 0w16 spec is primarily to reduce fuel consumption. I honestly don't think there would be any harm in running 0w20, particularly if you live in a warmer climate.

Chicago? I'd stick with 0w16 until winter is over.

William JonsonI just completed my first oil change on my 2018 XLE Hybrid ....

The GorillaGear Ramps worked great - plenty of clearance. ($50 on Amazon for the 16K lb ones)
Removing the panel was easy - 4 10mm screws hold it in place.
Bought 0W16 Toyota Synthetic oil at my dealer. It was around $28 for 5 quarts (not too bad)
Bought 10 OEM Toyota Oil filters at dealer for $71 (more expensive than others)

The Toyota Oil Cartridge tool I have fits the new metal filters perfectly
The 0W16 oil is thin (can tell when it gets on your hands ...)
Drained oil first, then removed filter (I have a large catch pan, so no mess)

My existing oil funnel screws into the area where the oil cap is - no mess filling with oil.

I had a bit more than 1000 miles on the odometer - easier task than changing the oil on our recently totaled Camry XLE Hybrid.

Like doing my own changes...peace of mind... and always the right oil level when it settles after the filter soaks...

I already have 60k+ on my 2018 Hyrbid LE. I've submitted oil samples to LOAMs at 5k intervals and 10k intervals, there is no benefit to going so early. 10k intervals are fine, but if you like to burn money, be my guest.
