Hey guys. Found the forum from a Youtube post about adding CarPlay to a 2018 Camry. Followed the instructions, and actually tried to install the update from Toyota first as the version they offered on their website, 1030, was older than the 1040/1042 was, so figured I'd go one version at a time.
However it failed. Said "New software is not compatible with the system".
Anyone else run into this?
