Hey everyone I bought my 2019 XSE hatch about 3 weeks ago and am loving it. I already have a few plans for it that I am saving for but I really want to find a short shift kit for it. I cant find any anywhere so im wondering if im missing anything. If one hasnt been made whats the likelihood a tc or maybe a 11th gen kit would work?

If you're feeling ballsy, try ordering the TRD kit from the 18 Corolla. I'm waiting to see if one will become available with the "TRD" corolla. (or if it'll be optioned as a manual for that matter)

those are just bushings for the floor mount. Will do nothing to shorten the throw. May only firm it up a tad. Waste of money.

^This is ideally what you want. It shortens the throw at the transmission and doesn't change the height of your shifter. If Toyota uses the same linkage bracket on the current 6spd as they have in the past, there's a good chance it'll work. But I'm not in a position to throw money away if it doesn't work until I get back to work!

Do you happen to have a part number? I tried looking at the one for tC (ptr54-21100) but the linkage brackets look different.

There's an SAE paper on the development of our transmission (EG60). Apparently they used the EB60 as a base. Development of a New 6-Speed FWD Manual Transmission

No I don't. I just grabbed an image from the TRD web site. Hopefully this comes out for the Corolla. It's one of the few downfalls of the E210. The 6spd has great gear ratios, but the shift throw is just a tad too long. Of course, I was used to driving MX5's for a bit, so high shifting standards. lol
