There isn’t really anything to build other than picking colors and a handful of factory options. You have a no cost bench option on the XLE and Limited, upgraded nav on XLE, 12.3” screen and PVM on Limited, and the extra cost paint colors. That’s it. Everything else is driven by the trim and whether it’s AWD.Maybe this is a sign, that the main web site will be up-dated soon, so folks can go ahead and build a 2020 Highlander
They don’t come with floormats??Yes, but it might be better explained or broken down once you can build one online i.e., does the upgrade 12.3 automatically come with the better radio? Locking wheel nuts, Mats, Rubber / Carpet, what will things like this add to the over-all price
I noticed that the LE FWD model gets worse fuel economy than the L, XLE, Limited, and Platinum trim levels. Here is the official product specs doc from Toyota’s US pressroom:

Not from the factory. They are port or dealer installed accessories. They don’t come with floormats??
Most of the Toyotas that come through a dealer lot are "ordered" with the floormats. Mostly carpet, but some will have the all weather mats or the option package with either the carpets or rubbers. Seldom does a vehicle arrive without any mat options on the Monroney (special order perhaps). Not from the factory. They are port or dealer installed accessories.
