Hello...does anyone happen to know if the headunit has an RCA output for an external powered subwoofer? I am thinking of getting an under seat mounted style, and hoping to avoid tapping into both Left and Right dash speakers.

Are you sure that there is the room required? Just curious why the form factor choice.
Not exactly sure yet...will have to measure once I get the car (due to arrive late November). Reason for the form factor is simplicity really. The car is a daily and family hauler so trunk space is premium from time to time. Also not really wanting to get into a fancy install either. I am mostly likely going to only upgrade the dash speakers, and leave the doors alone. I worry about removing the door panel and trim only to have them rattle afterwards. I had that with my previous car and drove me bananas. Would rather just add bass in a solution that provides just that.

Wiring a pre amped sub is the same as running an independent amp and sub. One is not more complicated than the other. You need the same wires going to the unit in both cases. You should check out my sub install thread. My Turbocat9000 sub box takes up very little room, less so if you got a 10" vs the 12". My amp is hidden behind the carpeting in the trunk. I also put some bass blockers in the doors. No problems with them rattling more than stock, had them apart several time already,( and really should slap some butyl sound deadening in there while your there which fixed the stock rattling).

Tons of pics and explanations. Contact Turbocat9000 on here for more questions about the sub. It's very impressive and was just complimenting it again yesterday on how hard it hits and has more than enough adjustability for all music types with just 250w. The system as a whole is very clear and sounds great.
Lmk if you have any questions
