was bored tourin around town decided to stop in a new 4 Wheel shop that opened up and get a quote on the ProComp 6 inch kit for my 05 TRD Sport DC LB. 2400 out the door installed? for any of you with the kit, is this price fairly comparible(SP) to what you paid? is this high/low? Enlighten me ladies and gentlemen.

On a side note also quoted $255.00 for the N-Fab light bar? any thoughts because the ProComp one is $455.00 which is just squirrely

sounds like a hell of a deal to me. you sure they werent just quoting you the kit, no install? maybe they are just trying to get some customers to get their name out there and are willing to do the install cheap.

haha well thanks a lot pal for doin a quick search for me it looks like all things are pretty good then, i may have to ask more questions just to see if maybe they aren't charging me labour? or something to try and get a long lasting customer? because it doesnt make sense to me that the cost of this kit is 100 dollars cheaper and in Canadian dollars

Yeah, definitely. Usually quotes will have a seperate item on your 'bill' of sorts for labor. If it shows that then I coudln't imagine any problems. If you quote doesn't specifically show a labor cost, then I'd be curious. Probably a bait and switch.

Oh, and doing a quick search, Pro Comp apparently uses MX shocks?
I know Fabtech uses the Dirt logic shocks on their performance kit. I don't know much about the pro-comp kits.
