Does anyone run 255/85 (or 235/85) tires on their taco?

I think that these will end up on my truck these with some black steelies in the near future

Couldn't find any pics in the forum so post em if you got em

Pictures are out there. Search for "pizza cutters," or even just "pizza." I recently discovered (through good folks on this forum) that there is a 255/85/16 all-terrain tire on the market. Up 'till now I thought this size was only available in a mud-terrain. Cooper makes the Discoverer S/T in 255/85/16LT and 235/85/16. The 235 is negligibly larger than a 265/75/16, while the 255 is big - it's a 33" tire.

Some pics of the 255/85/16s on a gen 1 Tacoma can be found here:

If I had a 4x4 this is the way I would go. You get the clearance of the 33" tire without adding unnecessary weight. With the right wheel combo it looks good too. Mine is a Prerunner, however, so I stayed with 265's for a bit more floatation in sand.

Not much sand to play in up here, which is why the narrower tires shouldn't be too bad...
probably better for the cutting through the snow as well.

found a good write up on this website here

I have seen BFG in 255/85/16s before ( I am pretty sure I have). When did these discontinue in this side?
