I am looking for feedback on my prototype lightbar brackets. These clamp around the drip rail so there is no drilling required.
These are designed to work with a 42" lightbar.

Please keep in mind that these are prototypes.

Sorry man, light bars mounted up above the windshield on a race truck thats going 80+ in the desert, yes. The higher up mounting position helps fill in holes in the terrain. On a street driven vehicle, they are just not a good idea. They create a lot of light glare off the hood and windshield and tend to make a lot of wind resistance which decreases MPGs and because of the wind resistance, they make a lot of audible noise in the cab when going down the road. On top of all that, (in my opinion) they just look bad up there on most vehicles.

Mounting the bar on the bumper makes all of those issues go away.

Saying all that, if you market them right, they will probably sell because these bars are the fad going on right now.

I've driven over 200 miles with this on and have experienced no wind noise. There is no whistling or vibration.
The reason why they are that far out is to eliminate the windshield glare.
I don't use the lightbar for street driving, for me it's offroad only as there is no reason to turn it on in town.
I thank you for your opinion.
