The first thought that comes to mind is "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Hahahaha (from the viewpoint of a "truck" in my mind is a working vehicle and an Avalon has neither the payload capacity or towing capacity to replace a truck for what I need one for)

But damn! Talk about some skills. That looks very well done. I wish I had such talents. Kind of reminds me of the old VW Rabbit pickups of the early 80's.

ToyotaFest should have the info. Strangely, and yes, I'm strange, I had exactly the same thought yesterday (but hardly the design details shown here). I need some way to get biggish trash containers to the city's recycle center... spoken as a former station wagon owner of a different marque...

Brad_G: ... "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should"... that's perfect.

I was checking out the rear ride height and the 17" wheels. Then I thought about the McPherson strut rear end. Whimsical, not practical.

It serves to prove that those folks in SoCal have too many warm weather days, LOL.

OleAvalon: So I went to put my bike in the car yesterday, and while I like driving sedans, they just aren't all that practical. A 2001 Tacoma sells for over $6,000 here and a 2001 Avie is $999.
