The 3vz is a twin cam motor, just like the 2vz (on cam gear per head, but two cams under the valve cover). You would have to get a custom regrind of the cams if you want to upgrade. No off the shelf parts are available that I'm aware of.

ya there is the 3vzfe single cam in the trucks and 4runners and then the 3vzfe in the early camrys but thats what I thought about the cams thanks
You have a little misinformation there. The 3vz-fe is a twin cam 3L V6 motor (Camry motor). The 3vz-e is a single cam 3L V6 motor (truck motor).

agreed, but the 3vze can be made to swap the 2vz heads the oil and water pumps bolt right up and all the oil and coolant passages line up figuring out a timing belt would be the biggest deal, I was hoping the deck hieghts were the same from 2vz to the 3vze but the they are diffrent so for the stroking out of the 2vz would require custom pistons wich is more than i have to spend so it looks like a stoke 2vz for now :sosad: thanks for all your input guys
