I'm currently rebuilding my 1zz motor and started to wonder how hard would it be to drop in a 2zz.

Has anyone on here ever done it? Is it something that requires a lot of fabrication?

I've gone to phoenixtuning.com and saw the 2zz swap, but I just wanted to hear from someone on the forum who had done it. See if it was worth it or if it would be better to just get a T/C.

Get a tC if you feel it's the right car for you. The 2AZ is quite torquey. Or even cross shop the new 10th gen XRS Corolla.

There is alot of talk on TN about engine swaps and not enough action.
