Hi Folks,

I'm probably being a bit stupid here, but how do I replace the 3rd brake light on my 2000 Previa? This is the light that's in the rear spoiler at the top of the tailgate's door. There are two screws situated under the light that go through the spoiler. I have taken these out but the light unit doesn't slide out, pull out, prise out, thump out or move when you jump up and down and swear loudly at it!

So, without knowing how it is still attached to the car, I'm loath to try anything else unless I cause it some damage.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi,

You are not stupid I have exactly the same issue. It is not obvious what you should do. The screws should release the casing but they do not. Help on this would be very useful. I too do not want to break anything.
