4-wheel drive issue

I owe a 06 tacoma and I'm having some difficulty with it engaging and disengaging when I need it to,I have had it at the dealer several times and all I get from them is the same old line that,"it seems to be working fine,there doesn't seem to be any problem",but the issue still remains,so I'm wondering fi there are anyone out experiencing the head-ache as me.
