I just wanted to share some picture of my valve that I painted today.

The motor is still sitting in the garage until I take it to Miami to get swapped in professionally.

All I did use the allen wrenches to take off the valve cover and the side cover that covers the cam gears as well as the intake manifold cover.

I used duplicolor enamel spray paint

I cleaned the covers then painted them white so that the colors I used would stick out better

The middle piece and intake cover was painted white and then sprayed with the purple and a blue

Let me know what you think :)

it looks ok tho.. not my choice of colours pretaining to the light blue /purple trottle body and middle section but i like the originality of colour choice. painting other componets in the engine bay in the same colours or similar should bring out a colourfull engine bay. hope to see more pics when its installed and eveything is finished.

omg I've been looking into doing this exact same thing on my car! Which duplicolor purple did you use? The normal kind or the anodized metal kind? Thanks!
I used the metalic anodized purple. I highly recommend you use the white first so the purple sticks out more. I think if you just use purple it'll come out darker.
