dont be snobby about it alright, and its for a 4cyl not a 6cyl, its a little diferent
Actually it's pretty much the same. I did a Tranny swap on my 4 cyl and used that as a guide when I was looking for parts. I made a thread where I listed everything I needed/wanted and how much it cost me. But off the top of my head I will say.
Shifter assembly with linkages
Clutch master cylinder
slave cylinder
manual Pedal assembly
Clutch and Flywheel (I just went ahead and bought new aftermarket ones) If you have a used clutch, you are probbaly wanna get a new realease bearing. They come with new clutches though.
Transmission, gonna need the tranny mount brackets/assmebly also since it is differen than the automatic one.
I used my stock axles and since you are keeping the 4 I imagine you can also.
I also switched over to an Manual ECU cuz they were so cheap but you don't actually have to.
I didn't use any trim pieces, I just had a custom leather Shift boot made and I got a TRD shift knob. I also got new peda covers cuz my pedals didn't have any and my feet kept slipping off plus the stock rubber ones suck. These are little things you usually don't think about that sap any extra money you have.
If you don't have a tach, you are gonna want to get a new guage cluster also for obvious reasons.
I used
www.car-parts.com to find EVERYTHING. The prices were excellent on there. You can do it yourself and use all used parts for like under 1000 dollars. Or you can pay someone and buy a lot of new and aftermarket bull$hit and spend 2300 like I did.
By the way, I have a 2nd gen, not a 3rd gen but it is still basically the same. You are gonna run into some kind of issue or dealy. Be prepared for it. It ALWAYS happens. :thumbdown
