My RAV developed a knocking noise when I lightly press on the brake pedal. If I press harder on the pedal, the knocking will go away. I don't feel or have any kind of noticeable differences because of this knocking. When I brought it to the dealership, they said that they were not able to recreate the noise and they did not see anything wrong with the brakes nor the suspension. The noise is coming from the front.

Any possible ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is it just one knock after applying the brakes, or continuous knocking as the wheels turn?
If it's just one knock, it's the brake pads shifting slightly in the calipers. Not to be concerned as this isn't a serious problem, just a general indication of the quality (or rather lack of) of the car (poor dimensional tolerancing).

It knocks about every rotation, it seems like. I don't notice when I turn the wheels.
