Hi, I purchased one of these used from the US and imported it to Canada. I need the passenger door chrome interior insert replaced as well as the center console door that hides the aux input as they were damaged by the dealer. My local Alberta dealer has been in touch with Toyota Canada for 5 monthes about this and they are telling him that these parts were dealer installed and he can't order them. Does anyone know if this is true and how we can get them?

Is this the part?
No, it's the insert by the interior door opening handle and the small door cover in the center console for the aux input.
Those should be standard parts even on the 50th Anniversary Edition as far as I know. They may have had an extra silver piece stuck onto the door cover for the Aux Input...
You would think Toyota could solve this problem. I called Toyota USA and they want my dealer to call the dealer in the States who sold the car. Toyota Canada knows/will do nothing.
They are the same parts with a different finish, probably a sticker.

No.....those parts are stainless steel and only on the 50th anniversary edition. I would think that any Toyota dealer would be able to get these parts in a reasonable amount of time. Contact a US dealer and ask about those parts, and be sure to mention 50th anniversary edition and the fact that they are stainless steel.....good luck.
