Hi guys.
I've had an interesting cold start issue. If I leave the car overnight or for a day or so the car will not start on the first try. I'll turn the key, it will try to start, the lights on the dash will go completely, then the car will stumble a little.Turn the car off, then to start, the car fires right up and runs perfectly. Also i get slight flat spot when accelerating during the warming up.(While driving.)
1)New ECT sensor (For ECU)
2)New TPS.
3)Throttle body and IAC valve removed out of the car and cleaned.(Also replaced IAC valve o ring and throttle body metal gasket.)
4)Carried out on car fuel injector clean 4 times.
5)Reset ECU by disconnecting the battery negative for 30 min.
6)new fuel filter and complete fuel pump unit.
7)New spark plugs and leads.
8)New air filter.
When the car reached to the normal operating temperature running perfectly.
Recharged the battery and load tested passed.(12.72v open circuit voltage and 10.68v with load.)
Also fitted new spark plugs and leads installed few weeks ago but no difference.Cant see or hear any vaccum leak.
cheers.
bob.

Battery voltage sounds low to me. I had a similar problem over the winter right before my battery died, but nothing since. Seems like you've spent a lot of money throwing parts at this problem though, without taking the initiative to get a proper diagnosis. At this point you may as well try a battery. It seems like you've thrown a lot of stuff at it up to now and not gotten any desireable results.

Having said that, trying to diagnose a car is diffcult with the car present and all info. It's almost impossible over the internet...

I got all replacement parts from the wreckers for A$75. (Above listed replacement part's.)
I'm hoping you mean only the sensors and not the filters as well. Either way, used parts are an unknown variable at best. They may be in no better shape than what was on the car to start with...

Except the fuel filter, spark plugs, plug leads and the air filter.(All toyota OEM)
Next step is check current data with a scanning tool when playing up.(Cold start.) The USB scan tool(ELM327) i got from the ebay doesnt work in my camry,May be mine is not OBD2.The DLC sitting under the right hand side of the dash looks OBD2 style but no respond.(Software installed in to the laptop.)
