i can't seem to find 6 1/4" aftermarket speakers,is there any type of bracket i can use to put a 6" in the holes with insulation around them?has anyone ever had success at finding a 6 1/4" speaker with the proper bolt pattern?or is it easier and more common to cut the hole out bigger and put 61/2" in?this is very frustrating as i have the back apart and won't have it together until i find a speaker or figure out how to make the hole bigger with the tools i currently have(no rotary saw,i blew it up a couple months ago lol)thanks

as i said in PM.. my bad. 6 1/2 is what you want. the few installations I've seen though all had to have some custom work since the cressida rear speakers don't conform to standard bolt pattern for 6 1/2

yup they were 6 1/4,but for some reason 61/2 fits in the holes but barely, just drilled 4 new screw holes and its fine and dandy.BUT as always theres another problem lol,the drivers side keeps cutting out and only works half the time,im assuming its something to do with the stereo as all wires have been replaced and checked and i tested the speaker on my home stereo.i still have the stock tape player but my new stereo is on its way and is scheduled to arrive friday,if the speaker doesnt work with the new cd player then i guess i got alot of ripping up to do....AGAIN lol
