This set has a VERY nice tweeter(I bought some) The mids are very nice but they lack the midbass that the Pioneer set has. Still worth the money. Keep an eye out for when the new '07 models come out. They're made by Scan Speak and have the same type of cone the Ultra high end Scan Speak Revelator uses.

Will those Kenwoods fit in the doors? They seem kinda deep? They look really rad though.

I must be getting old cuz I can think of WAY better things to spend my money on than that stuff, I like things that go bang but in a different way:naughty: But if I were in the market those Kenwoods seem like a great deal:thumbup:

Actually, after some research the Pioneers are better speakers.

I had the ~'05 Lotus Reference set with the alum tweeter. It was nice

I'm going to pair my Vifa XT-19's(Alpine Type-x tweet) with a pair of 7" 4 ohm Revelators
