Will a 7th Gen headlight fit a 6th Gen Sedan/Wagon?
I had a bit of a accident , And can't find a decent replacement for my '89 Wagon, but can find plenty of 7th Gen headlight assy. (93-97). Would it fit with or without modification?

Found a few for $10-15 locally.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA

car-part.com

combs all the local junkyards in your area.

Or you can always try ebay or craigslist.

7th gen headlights won't fit 6th gens.
Yep tried ca-parts.com already, nothing yet.

Nothing on craigslist, been scammed by ebay to often, won't go back.

I need this fixed yesterday, she's my DD.

All these motorheads and geniuses on TN, one would think there's a solution to this.
Just think of the $$ to be made by a viable solution.

Well I've got a spare set from my European AE92 liftback (same front as the AE95) but it will take some time to arrive from the Netherlands...
Thanks for the offer..but will continue to look locally.
I think the AE95 is the same as the All-Trac wagons here and I think the fronts are different anyway.

Maybe I'll try to fab something up.

I think I misread the startpost.
There are off course also wagons with the sedan front and the Alltrac front doesn't fit indeed.
The front you are looking for is commonly fount in Malysia / the Phillipines / Indonesia, ect.

I believe there was one for sale over here a few weeks ago as well.

Good luck!

I decided to try this conversion.

Anyone know where I can get all the parts?
it is very difficult to find this front end, as well as expensive. it wouldn't be unusual to be asked $3-500 for that front end before shipping. i'd look in the classifieds here or just buy a new one.

The problem I see is that you have no money to spend, and are not willing to buy the parts from Ebay, where I see many.
If I had no money to spend then why would I want to do a conversion?
as my post before I have been scammed by ebay...use ebay if you wish, my hard earned dollars are important to me.

Or you could help with the issue instead being a problem...like you know everyrthing about everyone.

just so we can all get on the same page here... you dont want to buy new headlights because theyre too expensive correct? youre wanting to know if 7th gen lights will work because they could be a cheap alternative $15-$20. now if new headlights are too expensive then how can you afford the rarest front end? yes you can get ripped off on ebay, its happened to all of us. just look at the sellers feedback rating and read the feedback that buyers have posted. that is a pretty good indication to whether the seller is reputable or not. ebay is not responsible for your ignorance. and whether you want to believe it or not, gold94corolla was trying to help by hinting that ebay is your headlights solution. if anyone on here knows anything about headlights and ebay combined its him. and by reading your assholish replies i too have gathered that you dont have any money to spend. so try not to be such a dick to other members for trying to help you out.

My apologies to everyone, especially gold94corolla.
I didn't want to stir things up or mislead anyone.
Thank you kickfli12 for setting me straight.

I have ordered a replacement from ebay.

Again my apologies to all and please excuse my ignorance...even though there isn't one.

Yeah man, I was trying to be helpful and funny at the same time. I only say to get a new head light on Ebay, because you had exhausted all the other suggestions and options, and were even considering swapping the entire front end.

I've gotten screwed by someone on ebay, but it made me smarter about buying on Ebay. Most of the time (99%) you will be fine. So, don't let one bad experience keep you from lots of good parts!

But I have no intention of "being a problem". Thanks for understanding and apologizing.
