81 Corolla Tercel

I didn't know there was a "Corolla Tercel"

The 81 should rev at least to 6000 RPMs though.:dunno:

i heard the 81's only rev to like 5500

the old GM V6s and V8s used to rev to like 6000rpm.

haha.. I guess Toyota decided to split up the name in 82 as they came out as the Toyota Tercel only.

it's the same as Celica/Supra!

This was my first car. It was called a corlla tercel. It was made in late 79 early 80's. The 1981 was just a tercel. Ah brings back memorys......was a good car.

mine's an '81 and its corolla tercel. weird how they did that back then. maybe it was because they already had a sucessful car out (corolla) and they wanted to introduce a new vehicle. so in hopes of people seeing the already sucessful name they will feel confident...:ugh3:
