Im a newbie to the forum and may be back to pick everyones brains(lol) I have a 83 Dolphin(22r) that will not crank unless I pour gas down the carb then it runs fine.When I press the acc before cranking the choke does not kick in but also the carb doesnt seem like its spraying gas before cranking.It just seems wierd that it runs fine after cranking.Any help would be awesome

Pull the air cleaner lid off, look down the throat of the carb, and manually work the throttle. You should see a squirt of gas each time you move the throttle.

OK, on the frint of the carb there is a sight glass to check the level of the fuel in the bowl. Do you see fuel in the bowl?

If not, is fuel getting to the carb? (ie, is the fuel pump working)

yes it has fuel in the bulb and runs fine after pouring gas in the carb :headbang:
