New to forum. I've had the car since new with little trouble. 86 Wagon, 3-AC engine, auto, AC, PS. 145,000
After stopping the engine after full warm up, not long in NC, car is hard to start, runs rough when it does start, but always starts. Also next morning after hot shut down. Fuel smell at times. Cyl. head replaced (for preventive maintenance), cooling system seems fine, timing, mixture OK. No obvious emission control probs. I temporarily disconnected the charcoal canister feed from the fuel tank, but no help. Seems like raw fuel is getting into the intake once it gets warm. The carb is my next thought, but pretty expensive.
Any ideas?
