i got a 87 tercel i want to swap engine or build power from the 3e anyway possible i was looking into a 4a swap i need details of the fabrication and if the 4a has the same bolt pattern for bellhousing i need info

Look at the 4age swap in the DIY sticky and you'll see the frame cut that has to be made and the engine mount relocation. Use the whole engine and trans from a Corolla GTS. You'll need to drill/tap the trans for a mount into Tercel. All details in that thread.
