87 What's it worth?

I've had several people intersted in buying my 87 pick-up. It has the 22r in it. Has a new carb, new starter, new tires, battery, fuel pump and several other things. It's not what I'd call a nice truck, but I would drive it anywhere. Has some rust but nothing for what I've seen out of alot of them. Frame is in good shape. It has about 119,000 miles on it. I know what I have in it but would not expect to get that out of it. Runs really strong, so what is a truck like this worth? Just wondering if I should take an offer sometime or not. Thanks. Figured I'd ask the guys that know them the best.

I have what sounds like a similar rig, although it's an 88 with the 3.0l V6, recently rebuilt, and bought it for $1600. Carburated versions of your truck aren't going to fetch as much $$$ as people are more interested in EFI.
2WD or 4WD? the one major thing i'd be concerned about if i were looking to buy it is whether or not the timing chain has been replaced. i'd actually be glad it was carb'd, especially since it's a new carb. it seems there are a lot of threads on here with people having trouble with their efi systems. but to each his own.

if i were buying, i might offer you somewhere between 1200 and 2000, depending on what else had been done to the truck.

that said, i wouldn't sell it unless i had to.
It's a 4x4. 2,000 is about what I was thinking it was prolly worth. I have way more than that in it. I doubt I sell it but if a stupid offer came along I was just wondering. The only time I really use it is to coonhunt out of. So I does great for that.
Well I have a lot into my 87 4x4 carbed and was contimplating selling it. Personaly I would want $2000 but kinda realize I can't get that much so I would have to ask $1500 and possibly settle for $1000. Its got 182K and the frame has been fixed a few times. The body is decent but the bed is getting to the point where it has seen better days. Me kicking the bed (I was a tad bit .... upset) and revealing more bondo and rot did not help.

for $1000 or even $1500 I wouldn't sell my truck. To have a daily beater is worth more than that to me.

It's nice to have somthing I don't care about running it into 2 guards rails (20mph) and only brake a tow hook. I also raced it this past weekend without carring about burrying it into a snow bank (which I did twice). This thing takes everything I give it like a champ and asks for more. I've also got close to $3000 into it in the last 3 years. And its finaly running good. Not a cross country truck but I don't hesitate dropping a couple hundred miles on it a day within a 2 hour radius of the house.
